Built to be a showstopper, Ducati commissioned Fred Krugger, one of the world’s best-known bike customisers and recipient of two AMD Custom Bike Building World Championship trophies, to take an XDiavel and give it a characteristic makeover that retained the ‘Ducati DNA’ yet pointed towards the future of custom power cruisers. The result of this endeavour is the Thiverval. The bike is a fresh take on what a power cruiser of the future could possibly look like.

Custom creation
It gets its name from a small race track located on the outskirts of Paris and there is no doubt that it is a definite head turner. The customiser has left the engine in full view; however, he has hidden the Trellis frame in order to simplify the lines of the bike. The headlight remains the original piece, while the superstructure has been completely changed, including an all-new tank and tail design. Other key changes include the tail that incorporates the exhaust and the seat. To complete the Thiverval’s unique look, Krugger has used alternating gloss, matte and chrome finishes yet kept black as the dominant colour.
