Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt Ltd recently launched the Cliq scooter in the 110cc segment. With scooters accounting for a major share of sales in the two-wheeler segment, the Cliq comes in at a good time to further enhance HMSI’s offerings and reach out to a wider clientele.
Powered by the tried and tested 110cc engine that delivers 5.91 Kw of power, the scooter offers a spirited riding experience. According to HMSI, the Cliq delivers a superb mileage without compromising on the performance as well. The convenience of the automatic transmission also plays a big role in ensuring maximum riding comfort.
Ride ready
The vehicle has been styled to offer a heightened level of utility and practicality. Its unconventional design has a cheeky flair to it that will undoubtedly cater to a younger audience, while the spacious foot board, large under seat storage and optional rear carrier offer the owner the ability to carry an increased load. The new scooter also offers a mobile charging socket.
To add to its robust appeal, Honda is offering the Cliq with special block pattern tires that have deep grooves which provide better grip and control on rough roads and wet weather conditions. The rugged tires are touted to be more durable and have a longer life. The Combi Brake System with equaliser technology finds its way onto the two-wheeler. This unique bit of technology ensures that the braking force is evenly distributed between the front and rear wheels, which aids in reducing braking distance and improving balance.
