A bigger version of the TUV300 gets a new engine and added features

The Mahindra TUV300 Plus is more than just an extended TUV300, however, from the design standpoint, both versions stick to the same tank inspired look, albeit with the Plus version being much longer. You get the same clean cut lines and a Range Rover-inspired glass area which does lend the TUV300 Plus some character. Thanks to the extended wheelbase, TUV300 Plus offers a generous amount of room on board and can seat up to nine people!

As far as creature comforts go, the TUV300 Plus boasts of an interior that has been designed by Pininfarina, it gets faux leather seats, steering mounted audio and phone controls, convenient storage spaces and a 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment system with GPS navigation. On the safety and technology front, the vehicle is equipped with ABS, EBD, micro-hybrid technology, brake regeneration tech, Intellipark reverse assist and eco mode.

Powering the new TUV300 Plus is the tried and tested 2.2-litre, four-cylinder mHawk D120 engine which churns out 120 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. According to Mahindra, this engine offers superior drivability in both city traffic as well as out on the highway. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
