The new 3-door Cooper S, 3-door Cooper D, 5-door Cooper D and the Convertible Cooper S, boast of a streamlined front end and muscular styling. Key changes include the logo on the bonnet, tailgate, steering wheel, central instrument display and remote control in all models. The characteristic circular LED headlights have a modified design and the rear lights sport the Union Jack design as a tribute to the car’s British heritage.

The MINI 3-door Cooper S and Convertible Cooper S are powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder TwinPower Turbo petrol engine that delivers 280 Nm of torque and 192 hp. The former has a top speed of 235 kmph and does the 0-100 kmph dash in 6.7 seconds. Both the variants offer an upgrade to the new 7-Speed Double Clutch Steptronic Sports Transmission with shorter gear ratios and shift paddles on the steering wheel. It has a top speed of 205 kmph and accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 9.2 seconds.
