Bentley’s Bentayga V8 offers a sublime combination of power, luxury, and sportiness

The all-new Bentley Bentayga V8 is set to redefine the luxury SUV space by offering a grand touring experience along with the ability to travel through unchartered paths as well. This award-winning vehicle has won hearts across the globe and it is now officially available in India.

Bold design
This model boasts of a unique muscular body that has an unmistakable presence on the road. Each bit of sheet metal has been crafted to create an aura of athleticism and this is further accentuated by the details including the four round LED headlamps, large matrix grille, twin-quad exhaust pipes at the rear and, of course, you also get those stunning 21-inch alloy wheels shod with Pirelli 285/45 R21 rubber and the sporting red brake calipers that shine through. 

Handcrafted interiors
The cabin of the Bentayga has that quintessential luxury appeal. It boasts of modern luxury tailoring and a fine blend of handcrafted materials have been used to ensure you get that feel just right. This includes a wood-and-hide steering wheel, a high gloss carbon fibre interior panel finish, cross-stitching on the seats which are finished in cricket ball leather. The vehicle is available in a four, five, or seven-seat configuration which adds to its versatility. Creature comforts include park assist, night vision, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a high-end tablet that is removable. You also get a premium audio system that churns out 1,950 watts and has 18 speakers for an unrivalled sonic experience.

Precision performance
The SUV is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine which is touted to be a fine blend of power and efficiency thanks to the cylinder deactivation technology on board that shuts off four out of the eight cylinders under suitable conditions. The engine is capable of delivering 550 PS of power and 770 Nm of torque. It is paired to a ZF eight-speed automatic gearbox with permanent all-wheel drive and can take the Bentayga from 0-100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds and has a top speed of 290 kmph. The car also offers a wide range of drive settings (think off-road) via Bentley’s Drive Dynamics Mode and optional All-Terrain Specification.
