I had a packed week with events happening in all corners of the city – be it fashion, art, music or food. It began with a shopping fiesta at the three-day fashion exhibition, Trendz Vivah Exhibition at Taj Krishna, inaugurated by socialite Sri Vidya Vakkantham and actress Priyanka Sharma. From traditional saris, designer apparels to jewellery, the exhibition had it all. It was not a surprise that many were seen walking out with their bags full.

Saturday had the city’s art enthusiasts excited as Kalakriti Art Gallery organised the launch of Delhi-based artist Renuka Gulati’s solo exhibition. Inaugurated by SK Joshi, IAS and former union minister, Jesudasu Seelam, the exhibition showcases artworks that vivify the journey of a woman – from birth to death.Later that evening, I attended the 25th wedding anniversary of socialites Pushpa and Narendra Agarwal at Citadel Hotels and Convention. Guests enjoyed an elaborate multi-cuisine spread and summer cocktails, as we listened to the enthralling music by B’town singer Neha Kakkar.

While fashion shows are almost synonymous with ‘perfect body’, KIMS Cuddles broke that stereotype as they organised a fashion walk, Infotainment Carnival, for pregnant women at Heart Cup Coffee on Sunday. About 30 mothers-to-be walked the ramp and celebrated the joy of pregnancy. Adding glamour to the city was actress Mannara Chopra, who attended the curtain raiser of HI-LIFE Exhibition at Hyderabad International Convention Centre. The expo offered an exclusive showcase of haute couture, home décor and luxury products for its visitors.
