So much that, Phankar Innovative Mind Club organised a pre-Independence Day bash at Vertigo, last Friday. Ladies were dressed as freedom fighters, who later presented a brief show on the freedom struggle and patriotism. It was followed by a lavish spread of Hyderabadi delicacies.

Actress Sherlin Seth and other models Harshada Patel and Varshini S showcased new outfits from the collection over high-tea. Later that day, more than 20 socialites got together for a fashion show organised by Friends Forever kitty group at Heart Cup Coffee. The showstopper was actor Rahul Roy, while other Telugu stars like Sreedhar and Madhulagna Das also walked the ramp.

My weekend came to an end with a rather happening party at Olive Bistro’s fifth anniversary in Jubilee Hills. The highlight of the evening was Bengaluru-based band Best Kept Secret’s performance. The venue was filled with young crowd, who were seen dancing to popular songs of Maroon 5 and Coldplay.
