You’ve got to love the phrases ‘ahead of the festive season’ or ‘pre-festive season’ both of which give you license to indulge in a range of activities, as we saw this week. It started off with the preview of Amethyst’s Holiday and festive collection presented by Esha Nichani — a mix of the classics along with premium jewellery. Brands like Ravage, Mayflower and Amrud found favour with the ladies. Many of the same faces were seen at Home Centre, Express Avenue for a special interior designing session by Nancy Sathish. The afternoon included a quick guide on creating versatile looks for the home, with basic changes. Nancy traded in big words and abstract references for a more practical approach a little tweak here, an addition there, and your whole space can look transformed.
Next up was a Tanjore Painting exhibition at the Art Houz, showcasing the works of Tejasmi Honey to an exclusive audience. Special guests included actor and President of the South Indian Artists Association Nasser, as well as former cricketer Sadagopan Ramesh. The week ended with the launch of The Palms Spa at Crowne Plaza by Sabita and Neville Umrigar, at a wine and cheese evening. Guests got to look around the new space and find out more about the popular signature massages.
