From an organic market to anniversary celebrations and fashion events, the city’s socialites had their hands full last week. It started with the well-heeled ladies and gents hanging out at the screening of the much-awaited B’town film, Veere Di Wedding at PVR Cinemas on Friday. The event was hosted by Bisket Srikanth, in association with popular label Neerus.
That evening saw businessman Mukesh Sanghvi celebrate his 25th wedding anniversary with his wife Sangeeta Sanghvi in a romantic style at ITC Kakatiya. The party had everything from a décor that filled the hall with heart-shaped red balloons to a lavish buffet amidst roses and candles.
Singers Amey Date and Rini Chandra performed Hindi love songs, while I was busy having my seconds from the chaat section. On the other end, Shiv Menon and his band rendered some popular hits of blues and rock at By The Bay.
My Saturday began with some shopping at the open organic market organised by city nutritionist Sridevi Jasti at Banjara Hills. The market featured the best of the King of Fruits – mangoes, some organically-made pickles and eco-friendly utensils.
Meanwhile, fashionistas headed to the KRSNA couture that launched its new summer line, An Eternal Summer, created by fashion designers Deepti Agarwal and Sonam Jhaveri. Guests were seen choosing from a range of Indo western, dhoti saris and lehengas.
This time, the P3Ps continued partying till Monday night, thanks to Jhanvi Bajaj’s party at Headquarters. The socialite, who was the first runner-up of Mrs India 2018, threw a party for her friends. Ladies were seen savouring Alfredo Pasta, while sipping on Virgin Mojito and Fruit Punch.
