Petals and feathers
It is easy to spot dainty floral and intricately woven bird motifs on his creations that certainly makes it look regal. However, he maintains that his outfits are fuss-free and wearable. The ladies can look out for glamorous cocktail gowns and lehengas with crop tops. The lehengas he creates have double the usual ghera (extended hemline), measuring at about eight metres. Expect a colour palette of teal, aqua, peach and blush pink. “I chose this colour to add a dash of pop hues to the bride’s wardrobe in the gloomy monsoon,” says Gaurav, adding that he has used cotton blended with silk threads and some georgette with well-set zardosi work on the lehengas.
