Flechazo has a new outlet in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD’s newly opened restaurant, Flechazo, an initiative by Eka Hospitality Pvt  Limited, at Hitec City ensures that there’s never a dull moment when you go there to dine. The restaurant, which serves, “Mediterr-Asian food”– a fusion of Mediterranean and Indian cuisine rustled up with panache, is the latest favourite amongst the youngsters in IT City.

Dramatic twist

The name of the restaurant translates to ‘love at first sight’ in Spanish and they go all the way, to ensure you do fall in love with the place. Three live stations and waiters dancing to the beats of Lungi Dance could make your lunch-time outing entertaining. If any of the visitors happen to celebrate their birthday in the premises of the outlet, the waiters get up and dance. Besides, guests are encouraged to feel at home. “They can make their own pizzas with the condiments of their choice at the live station. If they make it themselves, it would certainly be yummier,” says the executive chef, Ajith Kumar K.

Hint of nitro

As we sip on the welcome drink, a mojito, and relish some sushi from their conveyor belt-like like live station we sat down to sample what the restaurant has to offer. You may end up full even before you get to the entrée section! First  up on the table is  the Curry Leaves Scented Chicken Tikka With Kerala Spices. The juicy chicken pieces with a delicate flavour pairs well with Herb Lemonade. It had a hint of thyme, parsley and pineapple juice that helps you wash down the spicy chicken. Next, we try their  Panfried Kasundi Fish where the flavours are subtle.  The vegetarians must try the Zatar Scented Veg Seekh Kebab which has a melt-in-your-mouth quality about it. From the main course in the buffet section, we sample the delicious Grilled Fish With Pizzaiola and The Flechazo Style Crab Curry with Coconut. We ended our lunch with  Nitro Batida, a cocktail that can pass off as an ice-cream before it melts. The decadent concoction rustled up with fresh lychee and passion fruit with a generous sprinkling of brittle rose petals.
