India Kawasaki Motors is aggressively revamping their product line up in India. The latest to go through an upgrade is the Versys 650. The 2018 model Versys 650 has been touted to be a great product and the changes carried out have had a direct impact on how the bike now performs.

Incidentally, it’s assembled at Kawasaki’s Pune facility in Chakan. The mid-capacity adventure tourer will be offered in the same striking green and black colour combination, however, the major changes to it include the new long travel suspension, 17-inch wheels, a new gear position indicator, and a windscreen with 2-inches of tool-free adjustment for added comfort. Known for its versatility, the new model is a bike that can be used easily in town, out on a highway run or on an adventure in the mountains.

The vehicle comes fitted with a 650 cc parallel twin engine that delivers 68 PS of power and 64 Nm of torque which is said to be great for the riding conditions in India thanks to the diverse terrain and varied riding conditions. Besides the standard ABS, the motorcycle also benefits from a lightweight chassis that allows for a fun and comfortable riding experience. It gets a 300 mm disc brake up front and a 250 mm single disc at the rear.
