Royal Enfield Classic 500 outfitted with electric engine
Although there has been a back and forth discussions about this, electrification is seen as the future for the auto-sphere. More and more manufacturers are joining hands and building technologies that will possibly help sustain this change in the future. Recently showcased in Bangkok, Thailand was a modified Royal Enfield Classic 500 where someone swapped the single-cylinder internal combustion engine for an electric motor. The Classic 500 Electric was put up on display at a local RE dealership.
According to reports, it is said that the RE Classic Electric would be a whole lot faster, when compared to a standard bike with respect to initial acceleration. This is not the first example of a Royal Enfield motorcycle going electric. Previously, another Classic 500 owner in the UK had converted his motorcycle into an electric one.
Here’s to cleaner air and a future free of fossil fuel!
