Conceived and designed by BMW Motorrad in Munich and built at the TVS factory in India, the new G 310 R and G 310 GS marks the European brand’s foray into the sub-500cc premium motorcycle segment. The G 310 R carries the essence of a BMW roadster and has been crafted in that manner.

The bike boasts of a striking design that includes a funky headlamp, muscular fuel tank, great proportions, and a compact design that ensures you can change direction quickly. The upside-down fork, quality build, paint job, and fine workmanship lend the G 310 R a rather premium look and you can’t take your eyes off this machine.

The G 310 GS  carries forward the lineage of the larger BMW Motorrad GS bikes, albeit in a smaller package. Designed to be nimble and agile while on the tarmac, the GS is equally suited for riding on rough roads as well. It is your quintessential adventure motorcycle that is touted to be quite pocket-friendly too. 
Both the bikes are powered by a 313 cc water-cooled single-cylinder 4-stroke engine.

This engine delivers a power output of 34 hp and generates 28 Nm of torque which allows the bikes to go from 0-50 kmph in 2.5 seconds while hitting a top speed of 143 kmph. Both bikes also benefit from a six-speed gearbox, 2–channel ABS, a multi-function instrument cluster and a segment first warranty package. 

The BMW G 310 R is available for `2,99,000. The G 310 GS can be yours for `3,49,000.
