The new Lexus SUV is said to be a product that is exciting to drive yet remains committed to being environmentally conscious thanks to the hybrid drive that it offers. Following the brand’s edgy design philosophy, the NX300h does look rather bold and key exterior highlights include the panoramic sunroof, LED triple-projector-beam headlamps, and dramatically styled front and rear fascias. The LED tail lamps are said to be inspired by a cut gemstone.
Hybrid power
The vehicle comes with an all-wheel drive and a new adaptive suspension. Fitted with a 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder in-line petrol engine which is paired with an electric motor, it’s capable of delivering a maximum power of 194 bhp. The icing on the cake is the fact that it is rather frugal and boasts of an ARAI-certified
mileage of 18.32 kmpl.
Big on innovation
The car benefits from a series of unconventional features that elevate comfort and convenience to new levels. These include the signature first kick-sensor-activated power rear door, first-in-class power folding and power reclining rear seats. The hybrid SUV also offers a hi-fi Mark Levinson system with ClariFi technology with 14 speakers for a great audio experience.
Add to that, you also get a 360° panoramic surround view monitor, a 10.3-inch split-screen multimedia display provides simultaneous access to audio and climate controls and various systems, including the next-generation navigation system that is coupled with a full-colour heads-up display. Safety features include eight airbags, ABS, vehicle stability control, and an anti-theft system. The Lexus NX300h will be the fourth offering from the company in India and the prices will be announced in January 2018.
