The AMG portfolio in India has witnessed a healthy demand, as customers who are looking for a performance car that can also double up as their everyday ride is on the rise. These cars are known for their raw power and unmatched luxury, which is what makes them such desirable products. The latest to join the up are the CLA 45 AMG and GLA 45 AMG 4MATIC.
Under the hood of these beasts is the awesome 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo AMG engine which happens to be the most powerful series production two-litre engine in the world. It delivers 380 PS of power and 475 Nm of maximum torque and is capable of taking the CLA 45 AMG from 0-100 kmph in 4.2 seconds, while the GLA 45 AMG 4MATIC does the dash in 4.4 seconds.
The Package
Both the vehicles get the complete AMG treatment in terms of design as well. This includes the new front apron, a new front splitter, revised air louvres with air intakes, a rear AMG apron along with the diffuser insert, the AMG front grille (the GLA 45 gets the ‘twinblade’ look), and an advanced aerodynamic package which gives the cars a low coefficient of drag.
The cabin is equally kitted out with highlights including the Artico man-made leather dashboard and beltlines finished with a red stitching. Also available in the Aero Edition trim which includes the sports stripes in matte grey and the AMG Night Package, these cars will get your jaw to drop!
