Ace racer Alisha Abdullah and Ahaan Panday drive the exciting new BMW I8 in Chennai. This new car is electric and can run as fast as a petrol car and the duo couldn’t contain their excitement as they got behind the wheels.
The beginning of their weekend couldn’t get better as they both took up the challenge to try the Formula E simulator and the all-new BMW I8 on the race tracks of Chennai.
Alisha, queen of the racing tracks shares her exciting experience of driving the BMW I8 with Ahaan Panday, “I Love Cars, I Love Speed and the racing track feels like home to me. The idea of an electric car being so fast that it can go from 0 – 60 kmph in just 06 seconds and is environment-friendly is what gives me the kick here. Training Ahaan to drive with me was equally fun as he is a great student and a quick learner. Obviously, with all the safety gear in place, we couldn’t wait to roll!”
It was a firsthand experience for Ahaan Panday who debuted on the race track under the able guidance of Alisha. A novice with racing cars, Ahaan was thankful to Alisha to make him comfortable and understand the nitty-gritty of racing. Ahaan Shares, “Honestly I felt scared in the beginning but as Alisha came to my rescue, I realised I was in safe hands. It was a great feeling to drive this car and a thrilling experience as I love speed. I am thankful to Alisha and the entire team for this great experience”.
