Artists have come and gone. Music was made and millions of copies were sold worldwide. Countless beautiful tributes have been paid to them. They have been and will always be music legends. However, it may come as a surprise that they have never won a Grammy in their lifetime.

  1. Bob Marley

He is a role model. His poster hangs on almost every music room, but despite his prolific output and legacy, reggae icon Bob Marley has not been awarded a GRAMMY. He, however, was given the association's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2001.

  1. Jimi Hendrix

Hendrix was an American rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He is regarded as one of the most influential electric guitarists in the history of popular music. Jimi Hendrix has received a number of Hall of Fame Grammy awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award but never one for any of his four albums.

  1. Tupac

Tupac Amaru Shakur aka Tupac or 2Pac was an American rapper, poet, and actor. He was nominated for six Grammys but won four after he died.

  1. Queen

Although their single ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ were successful to the extent that it got them a Guinness World Record and induction into the Grammy Hall of Fame. Queen however, have not taken home an award. Freddie Mercury till date is known to be the most high profile loss from AIDS in the entertainment world.

  1. The Notorious B.I.G.

Christopher George Latore Wallace famously known as Biggie was known as one of hip-hop's most influential figures, but the Notorious B.I.G. has never taken home a GRAMMY.
