Bugs Bunny creator Bob Givens passes away at age 99
Co-creator of the iconic Looney Toons character Bugs Bunny, Bob Givens passed away last week on December 14th at the age of 99. His family made an announcement on Facebook, saying, "Yesterday in the hospital my father’s conditioned changed. He’s resting peacefully on Pallative care at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank."
Bob Givens worked in the animation industry for over seventy years, lending his hand to shows like Popeye, Alvin & The Chipmunks, Garfield, Ghostbusters and Tom & Jerry.
Part of the backbone of 20th century animation, Givens will be dearly missed.
