Who will be the next James Bond?
There’s been a huge speculation of the next James Bond from the time Daniel Craig declared in 2015 that he would rather “slash his wrists than play 007 again, but he was persuaded for one last mission.
Producer Barbara Broccoli whose father turned Ian Fleming’s novels into the world’s biggest spy film franchise hinted that 007 could next be played by a black person or a woman. Daniel Craig has agreed to do one last mission for 007. Sources stated that Daniel was indeed persuaded with a reported 100 dollar cheque to sign up for his final mission as James Bond.
Barbara has already reinvented Bond once from the tall, dark-haired and most memorably portrayed by Sir Roger Moore to Craig. The producer also quoted that “Right now, it’s Daniel Craig, and I am very happy with Daniel Craig, but who knows what the future will bring?” While the movie is set to be released on November 18th this year, the speculation grows as who the next Bond will be.
'These films tend to reflect the times so we always try to push the envelope a little bit,' she was quoted saying, adding to our curiosity. However, there are rumors of television star James Norton and Michael Fassbender to be tipped as the next 007.
