Priyanka Chopra gets engaged to Nick Jonas in closed ceremony with loved ones

Bollywood actor Priyanka Chopra on Saturday got engaged to American singer Nick Jonas in a closed and intimate ceremony in Mumbai. While the couple has been dating for the last three months in what is said to be a whirlwind romance, Priyanka and Nick have finally silenced rumours with the engagement ceremony. 

According to various media reports, Priyanka is seen to be wearing a yellow salwar kameez as Nick Jonas sports an embroidered sherwani. The photo also shows the logo with N and P as the initials. The Quantico actress had earlier, in the early hours of Friday picked up Nick Jonas and his parents from Mumbai airport, hinting at the engagement ceremony on Saturday after Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar indicated Priyanka had quit the Salman Khan-starrer film because of marriage plans with Nick Jonas. However, soon after she signed Cowboy Ninja Viking where she will be seen playing the female lead alongside Chris Pratt, apart from her for her upcoming Hollywood film Isn’t It Romantic with Liam Hemsworth. 

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas were first seen together at the Met Gala in 2017 and while rumours have been doing the rounds ever since she was only spotted on a holiday and several dates in June. However, the couple never confirmed their relationship until the engagement except being photographed together on several occasions.
