Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently revealed that he has a preference for the language the scripts are sent to him. He also went on to say that actors today do not use Hindi and are becoming highly westernized. However, the Pink hopes they use more Hindi than before as they work in the Hindi film industry.

According to media reports, Amitabh Bachchan will be seen speaking entirely in Hindi in his upcoming television show Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 10 which will go on air on September 3. The 75-year-old actor said these days whenever he gets any script in Roman Hindi, he immediately returns it to the writer and tells them he will read it only if it is in Devnagri script. He also went on to add that he is not forcing anybody to talk in Hindi but as far as KBC is concerned because the show is in Hindi, he is supposed to talk to the audience in the language.

Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan’s family is multi-cultural and speaks all kinds of languages, given that Jaya Bachchan is from West Bengal, Aishwarya Rai from the south, and other relatives from north India. So, the family speaks in English and Hindi, usually but also encourages Bengali and Punjabi among others.
