Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai has denied opting out of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film to star with Abhishek Bachchan in Gulab Jamun. The actress said that all the reports were baseless and untrue and she has not said she will not work with Sanjay in his next film, as she has immense respect for him and will work with him at any time.
According to earlier reports, a source said that Aishwarya had chosen to not work on Bhansali’s film because the dates of both the movies were clashing and she chose to work with Abhishek. However, reports also state that the former Miss World was already in talks with the director when Anurag Kashyap’s Gulab Jamun was offered but she overlooked it. However, with the new development, it looks like Aishwarya has a lot on her plate and will definitely be seen in the film with Bhansali, which is untitled as of now.
Interestingly, the couple was last seen together in Mani Ratnam’s film Raavan in 2010. However, while was last seen in Fanney Khan, Abhishek is busy with his upcoming movie Manmarziyan, which also stars Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu.
