Indian actor Frieda Pinto is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Love Sonia, and while Priyanka Chopra earlier said she doesn't want to be stereotyped in her roles in Hollywood, Frieda does not have issues with being Indian. Frieda has said she does not want people to be blind to her ethnicity while casting her in roles.

According to a recent interview with a leading publication, the 33-year-old actor said most people when they see her can obviously see her skin colour because it is brown and she is obviously Indian. However, she goes on to say that people shouldn’t be blind to that and the audience should accept her for who she is. Frieda added that when a writer is writing a role, it can be as an Indian in America but does not need to give in to the stereotypes.

Frieda Pinto will be seen in 2018 film Love Sonia which has been directed by Tabrez Noorani and produced by David Womark.  The film will also see Demi Moore, Mark Duplass, Manoj Bajpayee, Rajkummar Rao and Richa Chadda, among others.
