Ace-designer Rohit Bal took to Facebook to express his frustration and lashed out at the Indian film industry on Monday. The now-deleted rant, expressed his feelings on "the bastardization of Indian fashion," diva antics, and more.

Being careful about not taking names, he wrote, "Gone are the days of supermodels and super fashion. Every publication is vying for eye candy and often star kids with little or no credibility make it to covers of esteemed fashion magazines, simply because of their film lineage."

Interestingly, this comes at a time when Boney Kapoor and late veteran actor Sridevi's daughter, Jhanvi Kapoor appeared on the cover of a leading fashion magazine. She also shares space with Shahid Kapoor's half-brother, Ishaan Khatter in the July-August issue of another international fashion publication.

Following this savagery on nepotism and star kids, he went on to talk about the connection between fashion and Bollywood. Questioning diva antics and the absolute devotion to Bollywood stylists, he wrote, “We have the incestuous story of Bollywood stylists and their celebrated clients adding to the dilemma. Designers (with turnovers less than half the daily fee of these celebrities) are expected to provide their creations for red carpet appearances in exchange for publicity. My question is... why can’t these celebrities pay for what they wear like everyone else and why are designers succumbing to this for momentary mileage?”
