Jacqueline Fernandez suffers permanent eye injury on sets of Salman Khan's Race 3

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is said to have suffered a permanent eye injury while shooting for her upcoming film Race 3. While she suffered the injury in March, she continued shooting throughout until the climax scene. The extent of the injury was confirmed on Sunday after she shared an update about the injury through an Instagram post. 

According to several media reports, Jacqueline was busy shooting different kinds of action sequences in Abu Dhabi for the action thriller which demanded a lot of physical strain. However, the injury occurred when she was playing squash at the. She was immediately taken to the hospital to be treated but was discharged after she received primary treatment for the injury. However, the injury is visibly bad and the actor had to shoot the climax scenes while wearing sunglasses. 

In her Instagram post, the actress stated that her iris will never be perfectly round again but she is grateful she is able to see. Race 3 is scheduled to release on June 15 and will also star Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah among others. The movie which has been directed by Remo D’souza has been produced by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani under the Tips Films banner.
