Telugu actress Sri Reddy has been involved in a lot of controversial situations lately and with the start of Bigg Boss Season Telugu Season 2, she has stirred up one more. The actress has claimed that fellow Telugu actor Nani threatened to leave the show if she was a part of it; all this comes after Sri Reddy said that she was initially approached to be part of the show.
According to various media reports, the actress who is also a TV anchor said that while she did agree to be a part of the show, she did not receive a response from the Bigg Boss team for over a month. She immediately contacted them about it and she was informed that she couldn’t be a part of it due to some “politics”. The actress said that she was shocked by the response and when she probed further she said it became clear that it was Nani who was instrumental in taking her off the show. She went on to add that she even got to know that he has gone on to threaten the organisers that he would leave the show if she was a part of it.
However, the representatives from Star Maa, the television channel hosting the show have said that Nani did not have a role in the selection of the participants for the show. The actress said that she has known Nani for over four years and he has promised her roles on many occasions but it never took place, and now he has taken the one opportunity that actually came to her. Interestingly, on Saturday, Sri Reddy had written a Facebook post saying that she would reveal something very soon about Nani. The post read, “Nani + Sri reddy =dirty picture..when?? coming soon .. (sic),” leaving everyone in the industry guessing as to what it may be.
Reports state that when Nani was contacted, he denied the claims saying that going by her track record, the whole world has by now stopped reacting to the absolute baseless nonsense that Sri Reddy comes up with.
