Emilia Clarke bids farewell to Game Of Thrones in touching Instagram post 

The first season of Game Of Thrones premiered on March 2, 2010, and immediately became popular because of its complex plot.

Fans across the globe are sad that Game Of Thrones will end with Season 8 in 2019 and while the prequel is yet in talks, actress Emilia Clarke on Sunday shared an emotional Instagram post, leaving fans teary-eyed. The actress who was on her last day of the shoot went to the location and as she left shared a photo to fans across the globe. 

The 31-year-old who shot to fame with her role as Daenerys Targaryen in the popular television series, in her post said, “Hopped on a boat to an island to say goodbye to the land that has been my home away from home for almost a decade. It’s been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing #lastseasonitis.”

The first season of Game Of Thrones premiered on March 2, 2010 and since then the makers have released one season every year. While the first two seasons adapted one novel each by George R R Martin, creators D. B. Weiss and David Benioff made the other seasons based on an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire. The television series which stars Emilia Clarke also has Sean Bean, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Kit Harington, Maisie Williams and Sophia Turner among others.
