With the rise in the number of cases of rape and molestation inside and outside the industry, women safety is becoming a huge issue. While Italian actress Asia Argento spoke at Cannes Film Festival 2018 about how she was raped by Harvey Weinstein in 1997, Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen made a startling revelation at a recent event. The actress said that she was molested by a 15-year-old boy at one of the events she attended.
The former model and actress said that people think that she wouldn’t know anything about rape and molestation because she has 10 bodyguards all around here. However, she went on to reveal that she was molested at an event, only six months ago. The molester was a 15-year-old boy who thought that she wouldn’t notice because there were many men all around her. However, she recognised him immediately and grabbed him by his hand first and then the neck. She went on to add that she took him for a walk in front of the crowd and told him that if she made a hue and cry about it, his life would be over.
While the 15-year-old denied it at first, he later accepted and said sorry and said it won’t happen again. However, the actor let him go since he was a teenager and told him if she did hear, she knew his face and would immediately recognise him. The actor went on to say that adults must be hanged immediately to know the consequences whether you are in a city or a village.
