Ever since Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of assaulting her on the sets of 2008 Bollywood film Horn Ok Plsss, Bollywood has never been the same. The actor has appreciated all the support but has also slammed celebrities, who in her opinion were trying to trivialise her story without paying attention to it. Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna, as well as Sajid Nadiadwala and Farah Khan most recently have faced the brunt.
Bollywood actor Shakti Kapoor known to be quite witty said when it happened 10 years ago, she was only a child, so he wouldn’t know. However, he added that he just returned from the US recently and does not know about the incident at all so it would be inappropriate to comment about the situation. However, even when Aamir Khan and Amitabh Bachchan refused to comment about the issue Tanushree did not tolerate their stand. Tanushree said if people like Amitabh choose who work on films with social causes make such evasive comments that do not make sense, it is sad.
Tanushree Dutta on September 25 in an interview accused Bollywood actor Nana Patekar of assaulting her on the set and said nobody including choreographer Ganesh Acharya said anything about it. A video of her car being vandalised has also been circulating on the internet after the story first appeared.
