After months of rumours around their marriage, Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone on Sunday confirmed that she will be tying the knot with Ranveer Singh. While earlier it was said that they will be getting married in Como, Italy on November 20, the Padmaavat actress made the announcement on Instagram by revealing the two days of marriage, however the location is yet to be confirmed.
In the Instagram note, Deepika has said that she is happy to announce that the Padukone family and the Singh family have decided that the Bollywood couple will get married on November 14 and 15 in two separate ceremonies. The 32-year-old also went on to say that she thanks all her fans for all the love they have given her over the years and also in the time when she has been with Ranveer, and she hopes they will continue to support her in the new journey she embarks on with the Gully Boy actor from now on. Interestingly, this is the first time that Deepika has openly admitted to being in a relationship with Ranveer Singh.
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh first met on the sets of Ram Leela in 2013 before the couple reportedly started seeing each other a year later, however, they never publicly announced being together. Being the livewires, they always complimented each other and in a recent interview, Deepika also said it is nice to have someone who is dependable and puts you before himself, obviously hinting at Ranveer Singh. While Deepika is currently on a break on the film front, Ranveer Singh is quite busy with Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, Rohit Shetty’s Simmba and will soon be seen in Karan Johar’s all-star film Takht with the likes of Janhvi Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal among others.
