The world got to know a while ago what the first royal project of the Duchess of Sussex will be. On Monday, the Royal Foundation released a short film in which Meghan Markle helps the victims of the Grenfell Tower tragedy and thus, announcing her support of the new charity cookbook, Together: Our Community CookbookThe cookbook will feature 50 recipes from the women affected by the tragedy.

The women got together, along with Meghan, this past summer at the Al Manaar Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre in West London to cook and spend time together at the Hubb Community Kitchen. Meghan helped them with the cooking and also wrote a foreword for the book. The proceeds of the cookbook will go to supporting the Hubb Community Kitchen.

The Duchess first visited the kitchen in January and has made a number other private trips to the centre to meet volunteers and learn more about their work. Meghan helped put the group in touch with a publisher and her Royal Foundation provided assistance with legal and administrative issues. The book will be out this week.
