Shraddha Kapoor is busy enjoying the success of her latest Bollywood film Stree, however, she is wasting no time and is going to start shooting for the biopic on Saina Nehwal, which is being directed by Amol Gupte. While Saina Nehwal recently won bronze at the Asian Games, she has had quite a rollercoaster ride and Shraddha Kapoor said she quite identifies with her journey, because it is similar to her career.
In a recent interview, Shraddha who has been training to play the shuttler on screen is finally ready to go in front of the camera as she starts shooting for the film today. She said while it is a challenging role as an actor because it requires a lot of transformation, she is quite excited for the project. The actress added that it would be great to have Saina’s family on the set as it will be encouraging for her, to play the character better.
This is the first time that Shraddha Kapoor will be playing a real-life person in a film. She is also currently also working on a Hindi-Telugu bilingual film called Saaho with Prabhas.
