The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) has cleared Padmavati release for December 1 and the film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be screened across the UK.
The movie that features Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor is distributed internationally by Paramount Pictures. The official website of BBFC stated that the uncut version of the movie Padmavati will be released in the UK.
Following protests from the conservative groups over alleged tampering of historical facts, the release of the film in India that was slated for December 1 has been deffered as the film makers are yet to get a censor certificate for the movie.
