After Sacred Games, Netflix series Ghoul featuring Radhika Apte to release on August 24

The series follows an interrogator played by Radhika Apte, who arrives at a detention centre to find that many of the terrorists held are actually not from our world.

With the immediate success of Sacred Games, just three days after its release, Radhika Apte is all set to appear in Ghoul, a Netflix three-part series. The series which will release on August 24 will see Netflix bring in its first in the horror genre in India as the trailer releases on Tuesday. 

According to media reports, Ghoul is one of the three originals announced in February and has been in post-production since July 17. The series follows an interrogator played by Radhika Apte, who arrives at a detention centre to find that many of the terrorists held are actually not from our world. It has been written and directed by Patrick Graham. The film also features Manav Kaul, Ratnabali Bhattacharjee and casting associates Mahesh Balraj and Mallhar Goenka as part of the supporting cast.

The series has been produced by Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane’s Phantom Films, along with Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Productions and Ivanhoe Pictures. Interestingly, Phantom Films also produced Sacred Games and it will be Blum’s entry into horror series in India.
