Mission: Impossible – Fallout releasing July 27 features four powerful female characters played by four formidable actresses: with Michelle Monaghan returning, the cast also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Angela Bassett and Vanessa Kirby alongside the man himself Tom Cruise who returns to essay the super spy character Ethan Hunt.

Vanessa Kirby, critically acclaimed for her role as Queen Elizabeth’s resentful younger sister Princess Margaret in the Netflix series The Crown, plays Alana, also known as The White Widow. This Brit gal has been making waves right from her stint in The Crown to being seen next alongside Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible: Fallout to of course the latest feather in her cap - being part of the cast of the Fast and Furious spinoff - Hobbs and Shaw alongside Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham.

Ask Kirby about her MI6 character and she says,“Alana is an enigmatic character who comes into Ethan’s life as the total antithesis of all the women he’s met so far. She represents this whole other life — a life he could potentially have with somebody like her who understands his position. She is a temptation, not just physically, but emotionally and psychologically.”

The White Widow is something of a mystery, according to director Christopher McQuarrie .“She appears to be a philanthropist who runs a charity, but in reality, she’s an arms dealer and a broker between terrorists and money people. She seems to enjoy being involved with all of these nefarious characters, but you can’t trust her.”

Releasing on July 27, 2018, Mission: Impossible - Fallout – A Paramount Pictures movie, will be exclusively distributed in India by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. The film releases in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
