All ABBA’s fans can rejoice as the popular musical Mamma Mia is back with Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, a sequel to the 2008 film and is set to release on August 3 in India. The film, which is a story of family and friendship, and believing in oneself will take audiences back to the Greek island of Kalokairi.
According to several reports, the musical which is based on the popular songs of ABBA will see Meryl Streep, Julie Walters and Christine Baranski return with their roles as Donna, Rosie and Tanya. Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper will reunite as Sophie and Sky as Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard and Colin Firth play Sophie's three fathers - Sam, Bill and Harry. Interestingly, the film also has additions with Lily James, Andy Garcia and Oscar winner Cher.
The film has been directed by Ol Parker as Judy Craymer, remains producer and creator. The film will continue the journey of all of them following the life-changing relationships which impact all of their lives. Along with the music and emotional connect, it promises to be equally irresistible.
