The big release for Eid, Race 3 may not have really lived up to expectations. But that doesn’t mean the music has taken a hit. While the film has many foot-tapping numbers, it is the title track, Allah Duhai Hai, that’s still trending on music charts. Composed by JAM8 (Tushar Joshi), the song has vocals by Amit Mishra, Jonita Gandhi and Sreeram Chandra.

Talking about his experience, Amit says, “This song is a significant release for me this year. I am happy because it is a big film and this song has been shot in 3D.” Though the base signature tune/composition remains the same, Allah Duhai Hai has new sounds that includes EDM and contemporary beats. Amit feels since today’s audience is exposed to different kinds of music from across the globe, it was necessary to give the title track a contemporary appeal. “I would say it is in the EDM-trance genre. It has an element of suspense which brilliantly complements the film’s narrative. If this song would have had a house feel, it wouldn’t have had the same magic. In Race 2, the track was close to the rock genre, this time it is EDM,”explains Amit and gives full credit to the tech-nical team that has worked on the song.

Amit is also working on his singles and the new one that will be released in two weeks is titled Vacation. Shot in West Indies, this song is dedicated to the younger generation. “The song captures the essence of life and how young people are enthusiastic about it. The song’s composition is close to the rock n' roll genre and it is a fun number,” says Amit.
