Even as Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 20 years celebrations continue, Karan Johar has tweeted congratulating Student Of The Year team on completing six years. The film that marked the debut of Alia Bhat, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra was released on October 19, 2012. Karan tweeted, "So proud of @S1dharthM @aliaa08 @Varun_dvn !! Love you !!! #SOTY #6YearsOfSOTY (sic)."
Even Karan's Dharma Productions official page put out a congratulatory note that said, "Celebrating the film that set into motion the millennial rage of undeniable fashion, dreams & passion. To the spectacular batch that graduated with flying colors, here's looking forward to the coming one! #6YearsOfSOTY @karanjohar @apoorvamehta18 @S1dharthM @aliaa08 @Varun_dvn (sic)."
In response, Alia who returned to India from New York, earlier today, tweeted Just landed in Mumbai and looking at all the love that's been pouring in! Even simple things like this just make me want to work soo much harder! Love to you all from the bottom of my heart.. Can't believe it's been 6 years already! @karanjohar (sic).
Alia has been active on social media tweeting pictures from the Big Apple where she was spending time with her beau Ranbir Kapoor and his family.
