Last week, the Hyderabadis were witness to fabulous fashion shows, art events and even a do designed to get them fitter! First up was a prestigious art show, organised by Krishnakriti Foundation, Kalakriti Art Gallery in association with The City Hall of Bordeaux, where artist Priyanka Aelay presented her paintings, which were showcased at the Bordeaux Art Residency in France this year. Post that, we headed to the launch of designer Mamatha Tulluri’s fashion showcase, which was an initiative to support weavers. Spotted at the do were well-known faces like Harshada Pati and Jenny Honey.

On Saturday, the swish set of the city made their way to The Park’s club, Kismet, to dance the night away. Guests grooved to the thumping beats of DJ Lloyds, who was in charge of the console. This
edition of Club Nights was quite a hit with the youngsters.

We rounded up the week with some ideas about conscious living at the fitness festival at Radisson Blu, organised by two women entrepreneurs — Gulnar Virk and Tanvi Bhatia. The guests left with some knowledge and goody bags full of organic clothes and food from the open market that was set up in the premises. Meanwhile, BNI members hosted an evening to celebrate its sixth anniversary today at HITEX Exhibition Center. India’s fastest painter, Vilas Nayak, mesmerised the audience with his live talent, followed by singer Khushboo Grewal’s energetic performance. The stage was certainly on fire.
