All of the stars
My weekend started with D’Zine Avenue, a two-day exhibition, at Park Hyatt last Friday. Launched by T’town diva Lakshmi Manchu, the event was organised by Allure Events and actress Jayasudha. It featured a range of designer wear for women. Later that day, in the same plush hotel, I attended a tête-a-tête with Bollywood’s sweetheart from the nineties, Juhi Chawla. The event, attended by over 200 women, began with a panel discussion organised by Sandhya Raju, Chairperson, YFLO. Apart from talking about her upcoming roles, the Mumbai-based actress expressed her concern about the issues plaguing out the environment. On the other end, daughter of bharatanatyam dancer Rajeswari and cricketer Sainath, Vyshnavie Sainath tied the knot with beauYagnesh Ramalingam on Friday. The reception was attended by the who’s who of the city, including former Indian skipper Mohammad Azharuddin and filmmaker K Viswanath.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Chennai-based Eartheque Exquisite Elements, a leading architectural store with bespoke design in India opened its maiden store in Jubilee Hills. It is an exclusive architectural store with furniture, interior and lifestyle products. Post that, I headed to the Be You Family salon and dental studio, which was launched by actress Avanthika Mishra. That evening, the city’s P3Ps were seen at the 25th wedding anniversary celebration of Anil and Sonali Goel at Taj Krishna. The venue was themed in white and pink. Though my Friday and Saturday were hectic, I couldn’t have missed the book launch of Vitamin G: Gratitude by my friend Prashant Jain. The launch included a talk with Nithiya Shanti at The Hyderabad Literacy Art Festival.
