The city just got another high-end address for things sartorial. Satya Paul's brand new store at South City Mall in south Kolkata was launched with the latest Autumn-Winter collection, Travel Sutra and limited festive edition, The Devi Collection.
The 700 sq ft store, which is the brand’s second outlet in Kolkata, boasts of some of the finest collection of cocktail saris. The store has a vivid range of apparels, from printed, print highlighted, embroidered saris and suit sets to prêt collections and accessories for men and women.
The latest Autumn-Winter collection, Travel Sutra, has taken inspiration from the new and modern landscapes, flora, fauna and architecture, bringing out the essence of new, unchartered lands. Whereas, The Devi Collection, especially curated for the festive season has represented the divine power in seven sophisticated designs. It has taken inspiration from the different avatars of Goddess Durga and created patterns and motifs depicting power, purity, grace, peace and knowledge associated with the Goddess.
Actor Raima Sen, known for her elegant style, looked stunning in Satya Paul saree from the Travel Sutra collection. "I am a huge fan of Satya Paul prints and their vibrant colour palette. They have perfect combinations of silhouette, which you can wear at work and dinner, too," says Sen.
Prices start at Rs 12, 000 and can go up to Rs 75,000.
