Fashion enthusiasts in the city can look forward to the eighth instalment of The Electric Room at WelcomHotel this weekend, which promises to house an eclectic fusion of Indian and Western ensembles and accessories. With 30 designers from across India exhibiting their designs, the pop-up will also have the popular celebrity jewellery label Isharya. It also caters to brides shopping for their trousseaus, Diwali soirees, and even someone who is looking to refresh their everyday wardrobes.

The pop-up is curated by the founder of The Amoire, Nandini Varshnei, who organises luxe pop-ups in the city and shares her views on the upcoming show. “I’ve limited the number of participating designers so customers are offered only the choicest fashion of the season from only trusted designers across the country.” Some of these designers include Sonali Gupta, Malasa, Ease, and Lotus Sutr by Karishma Jamwal. One can also expect to see ombre shaded asymmetrical tunics by Meghna Pachmatia, from Mumbai, experimental silk saris by Tuni and Ahmedabad-based Dyelogue with a range of bandhani resort wear. Another highlight of the show are the pom-pom embroidered pastel kurtas by ILK from New Delhi. Nandini also brings the USA and India-based jewellery brand Isharya to the city for the first time. Spotted on several A-list celebrities including Jennifer Lopez, Sonam Kapoor, and Drew Barrymoore, this is another designer you will definitely want to check out!
