Out of the blue
If you’re wondering why Jackie Shroff popped into the city recently, it was to attend a felicitation ceremony in his honour, conducted by the Sanskriti Cultural Foundation. The special evening held at Music Academy had the crowd privy to speeches and a liberal dose of dance sequences to popular tunes from the actor’s blockbuster films like Ram Lakhan and Rangeela. Shroff, who was at the centre of it all, looking dapper in a navy blue blazer and denim ensemble, left fans with a green message, encouraging them to conserve water and gift plants.
Take it easy
It was no surprise that the Eagles tribute night at Bay 146 started and ended with Hotel California. Other favourites of a rather nostalgic crowd at the show included New York Minute and a beautifully armonised
rendition of Seven Bridges Road. Kudos to the band 7even, who receated yesteryear magic on stage.

The ladies at Gatsby did not disappoint with their style quotient, as they got busy on the dance floor with DJs Rudy and Prashanth Amir’s club mix for the night.
Humma Humma
Bollywood night at Pulse was a blast with new versions of some favourites like The Humma Song and Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast. With DJs Gowtham and Hussy in the house, this night was loads of fun and there were plenty of spirits to fuel our stamina every time we got out of breath.
