Anyone from the Delhi or Mumbai party circuit knows the name Kitty Su, the premier nightclub at the Lalit Ashok properties. Now Bengaluru gets to boast of its own club, that too an amalgamation of the pan Asian restaurant Oko and Kitty Su, aptly named Kitty Ko. “Kitty Su was started 10 years ago when I noticed a massive shortage of clubs in Delhi,” says Keshav Suri, the executive director of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, adding, “We created this character Kitty Su, a woman who embodies the flamboyant and chic feel of the club.”

Kitty Ko in Bengaluru will feature the menu from Oko, which features Asian dishes such as sushi, Oriental grills, Malaysian classics and more. The drinks though will be signature Kitty Su cocktails by mixologist Ravi Rai. “Ravi is good at infused concoctions such as elderflower vodka and Basil vodka and will be bringing all of this to Bengaluru as well,” Keshav adds.

Kitty Ko, like its counterpart Kitty Su will be supporting the LGBTQ and drag community in the city by doing regular events with them. “I didn’t even know there was such an active drag community in Bengaluru, till we started working here,” Keshav reveals. They will also be welcoming to the differently abled community. For instance, the Kitty Su in Delhi has a differently abled DJ.
