Over allegations of tax evasion, several showrooms of jewellery chain Joyalukkas are being raided by Income Tax officials from today morning.
"The searches are following allegations of tax evasion. We will be able to share more information later," a senior Income Tax officer told the media.
Jewellery major brand Joyalukkas has over 130 showrooms spread across 11 countries including India, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and the UK.
Joyalukkas branches in Coimbatore, Salem and Erode are also being searched by I-T officials
