Kerala’s Lakshmi Menon crowned Miss Queen Of India 2018

Here's what went down during the 8th annual Miss Queen Of India 2018.

Aspiring supermodels from across the nation gathered in Kerala, once again. These 18 pageant contestants, who had arrived at the scenic city of Alapuzha, were all part of the recently-concluded 8th annual Manappuram Miss Queen Of India 2018.

The finale took place—after a seven-day grooming session led by an expert panel of choreographers and trainers including Alieena Catherine Amon (Miss Glam World runner-up), Vipin Xavier (fitness trainer), and Sameer Khan (fashion choreographer)—at the Camelot Convention Centre on June 3. 

TV actor Siddhaanth Surryavanshi, Toshma Biju (Managing Editor, Kanyaka), Alesia Raut (Model), Sir GD Singh (Founder of World Peace & Diplomacy Organization) were part of the panel of judges for this edition. The competition, which was conducted by Pegasus event management under the guidance of Ajit Ravi, took place across three rounds:- designer saree, black cocktail, and red gown. The contestants walked the ramp in the grand finale to music composed by DJ Harvey Steve. 

Manappuram Miss Queen Of India 2018 witnessed former winner

Akansha Mishra place the tiara on Thrissur-based Lakshmi Menon. Simran Malhotra from Punjab and Aishwarya Sahdev from Delhi were the first and second runners-up respectively.

The other contestants at Miss Queen Of India 2018 were Apoorva Nayak, Ashwini Dhanraj Rangari, Meenakshi Mamgai, Neha Jha, Pooja Milind Jawhare, Priyal Girish Pandorwala, Ravina Jain, Sahiba Bhasin, Samrudha Sunilkumar, Sandhya Thota, Saniya Ashraf, Shali Nivekas, Sharanya Shetty, Shrisha, Swapnil Jollie, and Tanushree Mandal.
