A fashion show in Saudi Arabia featured ghost models by hanging clothes from drones as women in the conservative kingdom are not allowed to model.

Organisers of the fashion show, which reportedly took place on Wednesday, claimed that the event was "Ramadan appropriate". The show featured outfits from luxury brands, including Dolce & Gabbana.

On social media, some posters compared the video from the show unfavorably to a horror film, with users suggesting that the floating dresses looked as if they were being worn by ghosts.

Some suggested that the use of drones appeared to speak poorly for views of women in Saudi Arabia, despite the kingdom's having recently made a number of changes aimed at gender-related issues.
