Proposals are always tough and getting in the right place and time is always necessary because it is one of the biggest life events for most people before they get married. In a touching story, an Indian Army officer proposed to his long-time girlfriend as soon as he graduated on Friday, and the photo which was posted on Instagram has now gone viral with over 30,000 likes in one day.
According to reports, officer Thakur Chandresh Singh proposed to his girlfriend Dhara Mehta after the ceremony in front of both their parents and she said yes. He went on to add that he knew it would be the perfect moment as soon as he entered the Officers Training Academy in Chennai. As soon as the oath ceremony got over, he went down on one knee taking her by surprise but in the end receiving a positive response on a very important day in his life.
Interestingly, Chandresh had show Dhara’s picture to his parents a few years ago and said he was sure about getting married to her. However, Chandresh went on to say that he had to prove himself and fulfil his dream before he made a move, which definitely seems to have worked out well for him after Friday.
