Google’s India-born CEO Sundar Pichai on Tuesday stressed the importance of the responsibility that all technology companies have to get things right. Sundar who spoke at the annual "Google I/O" developer conference in California on Tuesday said computing is changing and it is exciting to be part of that change because there is a need to take it forward. 

The Tamil Nadu-born CEO added that tech giants like Google cannot be wide-eyed about what they create as they have to also think about the impact of technology and the role it will be playing in all of our lives daily. Talking to over 7,000 developers, Pichai stressing on his responsibility said the path ahead needs to be navigated carefully and there is a need to act accordingly so as to make it work correctly. He said the need for accessible useful information is the same as it was two decades ago but the ability to solve real-world problems has changed with the help of advances in artificial intelligence, which is amazing.

The opening talk from the Google CEO came after Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said the company is determined to work towards protecting user data and build secure solutions while preserving data privacy across the web. Nadella at the annual Microsoft "Build 2018" developers' conference went on to state that there is a need for new-age technology to be empowering while creating equitable growth while also providing employment on the global scale.
